Fashion Craft Course

Cultivating sensitivity and creativity, and learning the pleasure of creative activity.
In the Fashion Craft Course, students will learn of textile, producing, business overview, and designing of fashion goods such as craft goods, hats, and accessories. Students will be encouraged to acquire various techniques through opportunities, such as group exhibitions where they can present their original pieces. The course aims to cultivate human resources who will succeed in the multifaceted fashion industry, by having students cultivate displaying techniques and knowledge through experiencing various genres.
A year to acquire knowledge and technique
Students will study knowledge of fashion industry and basic techniques throughout the year. Students will also conduct market research at fashion spots. They will study new trend by researching clothes and goods shops.
Acquiring imagination and expressiveness
Students will study ways to express their personality through fashion crafts. They will acquire imagination and expressiveness by learning the pleasure of creative activities through shoe designing, making accessories with new feel, and searching of craft materials.

Future Courses of Graduates

Sundry Stylist
Sundry stylist will be in charge of styling merchandise displays in shops, feature pages in magazines, and shooting direction of catalogs and advertisements. Sundry stylist will need to understand shop concepts and media strategy of each manufacturers in order to capture consumer interest. In order to do so, expressiveness to fully convey the attractiveness of the product will be requested.
Fashion Advisor
Fashion advisors will provide fashion advice to customers at shops, manage inventory and sales, and convey customer opinions to sales and planning divisions. They bear an important role of reflecting customer opinions to development of new products.
